The Right Tool For Gun Cleaning I use BoreSnakes for cleaning most of my guns along with a variety of brushes and patches. When it comes to having the right size BoreSnake handy, I use the same technique as in the tip above. The BoreSnake goes into a ziplock bag with a card indicating the size bore it's designed to clean. That way I don't have to go searching through a pile of them, trying to guess which one will do the best job of cleaning my barrel. ~ DF
