Texas Gun Pros educates and trains to promote firearm safety and proficiency in the DFW Metroplex. You can take any one of our classes at any level of gun knowledge. We welcome anyone who has never held or shot a gun. We also welcome anyone who is looking for a refresher on shooting.
If you do any work at all on your own guns, even cleaning or changing out chokes, you'll begin to accumulate parts. Sure, you know what they are now, but give it a year or two, even a few months and you'll find yourself picking up a little doodad and thinking, "this looks familiar, but I haven't a clue what it is." An easy way to keep that from happening is to put your miscellaneous parts in little baggies—sandwich bags will do—and write down what the part is on the back of a business card or something about that size, then stick the card in the bag. That way, when you pick up the part from a drawer or cleaning kit, you'll know what it is and what it goes to. ~ DF
